The pandemic really put a damper on 2020 weddings. Many of our clients just wanted to be married and they had backyard weddings with a larger wedding in 2021. We would like to introduce you to Brittany & Matthew – take two!! This beautiful couple had a small backyard wedding last year due to Covid, and this past July was their big wedding day of their dreams at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT.
The Heritage Hotel is a beautiful little hidden gem and a lovely place to have your wedding ceremony. It’s nestled in a secluded hillside in a beautiful area in New England and because of this, it’s perfect for wedding photography backdrops! The hotel offers a Stone Garden and a Vineyard to say “I DO” to your sweetheart. If you are looking for a rustic venue then the Heritage Hotel is your place!
Their wedding day was absolutely perfect and so were they! The funniest part of their day was when Brittany’s father did his toast. He mentioned that she always wanted to be a teacher and one day she had gotten in trouble so her dad gave her a speech about it. After the speech, she patted him on the head and said “great speech dad”. So after his toast, Brittany patted him on the head and said “great speech dad”. What a touching moment.
