Francesca and Rick‘s Engagement Session at Harkness Park in Waterford, CT had a calm, easy feel from the start. They showed up looking great, comfortable with each other, and ready to just enjoy the afternoon. Partway through, a light fog rolled in, especially by the beach. It changed the whole mood—softened the light, muted the background, and made the space feel quiet and almost untouched.
If you ever get fog, clouds, or unexpected weather for your engagement session—don’t stress. Lean into it. It can add character and atmosphere you’d never get on a clear day, and often makes the photos feel more real and memorable.
