Family is everything to Krista and Tom! From the very beginning of their wedding day to the end, family was always there– encouraging, creating sentimental moments as well as many laughs!
Krista’s day began with the talented stylists from Allusions Salon creating beautiful hair styles not only for Krista, but for her nine bridesmaids as well. The rest of the morning took place at Krista’s parent’s home. One very special moment was when Krista gave her parent’s a thoughtful poem– it was a very sentimental moment for everyone there (there was not a dry eye in the room). The poem was a reminder to her parents that she would always be their little girl, she even signed the poem “Minnie”– a nickname that her father had always called her. After that, Krista got into her beautiful dress that she bought from Lucielle’s Bridal Shop, grabbed her bouquet from Elisa Floral and was ready to head to the church to get married!!
Tom arrived at St. Bernadette Church early for some groomsman pictures before tying the knot. When Krista walked down the aisle with her father, she and Tom were all smiles throughout the whole ceremony! There were so many beautiful moments during the full Mass.
After the ceremony, Krista and Tom as well as families, and wedding party drove a few blocks to Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven CT for beautiful wedding photos.
Let’s talk about that banging sunset!! Anthony’s Ocean View’s palm trees create a perfect setting for every sunset– it’s like a resort in Connecticut!
The night was just beginning! Donato from That’s Entertainment coordinated the introductions and got the party started right away without hesitation!
One memorable moment from the night was Stephanie’s (Krista’s sister) speech. She began talking about how much she loved Krista and Tom, and how Tom always felt like family to her and the rest of her family. He fit in right away, and everyone knew that Tom was Krista’s other half. Then she began to mention how everyone in the family had a key to her parent’s house– even her other sister’s boyfriend had a key. Everyone had a key except for Tom!! So at the end of her speech, Stephanie handed Tom a key and officially welcomed him into the family, even though he had been a part of it for years. Such a creative thing to do, and it really created such a wonderful memory for everyone to laugh about for years to come!
